If you’ve ever stood on the cliffs around North Cornwall during a heavy winter swell, you know that feeling. It’s the salt spray stinging your cheeks, the noise of the Atlantic that you feel in your chest before you hear it, and that deep, heavy drizzle that gets you soaked in 5 minutes! . It’s raw, cold, wet but beautiful.
At Salty Fins Kernow, we don’t just sell the gear to get you into the water; we live and breathe the coastal lifestyle. That’s why we created the Seascape Gallery. We wanted a way to bottle that North Cornwall energy and bring it indoors. Whether you’re a local surfer, an angler who knows every secret cove, or someone who just finds peace in the rhythm of the tide, our collection of photographic prints is designed to bring the wild spirit of the ocean into your living space.
Capturing the Atlantic Power
The North Cornwall coastline can be unforgiving and beautiful in equal measure. Unlike the gentler shores , North Cornwall is can be defined by the sheer force of the Atlantic. We’re looking for the movement, and the fleeting light that makes a session at Backways or Kernow Corners so special.
Take, for instance, our Atlantic Power print. This monochrome shot isn’t just a picture of water; it’s a study in raw energy. In the black and white tones, you can see every bead of spray and the sheer weight of the breaking lip. It’s the kind of piece that commands a room, reminding you of those days when the surf checks are high-stakes and the water is alive.

From Riptides to Golden Sands
The ocean isn't always about the stormy weather and howling westerly winds. Sometimes it’s about the quiet transition between day and night. That’s where Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) comes into its own. Prints like Golden Sands and ICM Sunset lean into movement, blur, and shifting light to create an abstract, painterly feel. Rather than freezing every detail, ICM photography captures the mood of the coastline: the glow of the evening sky, the pull of the tide, and the soft, drifting memory of a late-summer surf session. It’s less about a perfect record of the scene and more about the feeling of being there.

Why Local Matters: The Tintagel Connection
Based right here in North Cornwall, we have a unique vantage point. We’re so lucky to be able to get out with the camera at 6am or quickly popping out in between rain squalls to hopefully get that 5 minutes of sunshine.
About the Photographer: DCase
The eye behind much of the Seascape Gallery is DC Photography North Cornwall local who has lived here his whole life and is deeply passionate about our coastline. He studied photography at college, and that technical grounding sits alongside a lifelong fascination with waves and sea life. That mix of local knowledge, formal training, and genuine love for the ocean is what gives these images their honest feel.
Our gallery features iconic spots and hidden gems alike. From the dramatic backdrop of the Tintagel cliffs to the shifting dunes of our local beaches.

Quality You Can Feel
We’ve brought that same "no-compromise" attitude to our prints. We use premium materials that do justice to the high-resolution shots and the subtle movement that makes ICM photography so effective.
- High-Quality Photographic Prints: Perfect for framing, these prints offer excellent detail, balanced colour, and the tonal depth needed for both crisp seascapes and more expressive ICM work.
- Made for the Mood of the Coast: ICM images rely on softness, motion, and light, so print quality matters. We make sure those blurred tones and shifting colours still feel clean, intentional, and atmospheric on the wall.
- Hand-Selected Materials: Just like we hand-select our Beater Original surfboards, we ensure every print meets our standards before it heads out the door.

Our gallery is constantly growing as we explore new corners of the coast and capture new swells. Each print tells a story of a day spent by the sea: a day of "lines in time" and "sand lines" that shift with the wind.
